2026 COLLINSVILLE YOUTH BASEBALL TOURNAMENT RULES

 USSSA RULES will apply at all CYBL games, subject to the following amendments:

Rules subject to change if determined by the league as necessary.

ALL AGES                   

1. Diamond DOLA baseball or equivalent must be used.
2. Championship game time limits are the same as bracket play.
   i. For divisions with 5 or more teams, awards will be given to both 1st place and 2nd place
   ii. For divisions with 4 or fewer teams, awards will only be given to 1st place.
3. Game time limits and pool format subject to change due to weather.
4. There will be a 15 run limit per inning for kid pitch games, 7 run limit per inning in coach pitch .
5. The run rule to end a game is 15 runs after 3 innings, 8 after 4, 20 at any time.
6. Anyone caught chewing chewing gum, inside the playing field fences, may be ejected, along with the head coach (to protect our artificial turf).
7. Gate Fee
   1. $6: Ages 16-59
   2. $3: Kids 6-15 and Adults 60+
   3. Free: Kids under 6 years of age
      1. Refusal to pay may result in ejection or game forfeiture

1. Batter gets 5 pitches, option to use tee on last 2 pitches.  Foul on 5th pitch is an out.
   1. The batter and runners can only advance 1 base when the ball is hit off a tee, and only if they are forced.
2. Time limit 1 hour.
3. “Time” is called once ball is infield, all runners cease to advance, defense is not attempting a play.

7-8u

1. Batter gets 6 pitches or 3 swings, but continues batting if last swing is foul.
2. Time limit 1 hour 10 minutes.
3. “Time” is called once ball is infield, all runners cease to advance, defense is not attempting a play.

9-10u

1. Time limit 1 hour 20 minutes.
2. Umpire may give warning for a balk.

11-12u

1. Time limit 1 hour 20 minutes.
